U.S. Department of Labor to Host Events about Employing Foreign Workers

This week, the U.S. Department of Labor痴 Wage & Hour Division, in partnership with federal and state agencies, is offering two opportunities for business to learn how to comply with various provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). The day-long events will take place on Thursday, January 18, in Baton Rouge and Friday, January 19, in Alexandria.

The H-Programs擁ncluding H-1B, H-2A, H-2B用ertain to temporary employment of foreign workers in the United States. The presentations will ensure that Louisiana business owners understand the requirements of the programs, and they will provide recent changes to the H-Programs. Both events are free and open to the public, and advanced registration is encouraged. Event details are as follows:
