LCI Workers’ Comp continues to grow and recently welcomes two new employees: Risk Manager Billy Porche and Underwriting Assistant Liz Schreiber. Allow us to introduce Billy and Liz to you:
Billy Porche is LCI’s Risk Manager assigned to Central and North Louisiana. He visits LCI policyholders in these regions to evaluate safety practices. He works with businesses to reduce the risk of injuries, and in turn, the costs that come with them.
Originally from Woodworth, Louisiana, Billy now calls Pineville home. Billy’s work experiences include working as a mechanic, a warehouse manager, and most recently, a 12-year stretch as a Loss Control Consultant for another workers’ comp provider.
In his free time, Billy umpires at a local sports complex, and he likes to fish and hunt. Above all, Billy enjoys spending time with his family. He has an 18-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son, as well as a wife of 14 years. He lives by this principle: "Always tell your family you love them because you are not guaranteed tomorrow.”
As LCI’s new Underwriting Assistant, Liz Schreiber works closely with LCI’s underwriters and partnering agents. She prepares loss runs based on prior coverage, mails new policies, and prepares endorsements and waivers. She is available to assist LCI’s partnering agents in getting any questions answered.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Liz moved to Slidell 10 years ago, and continues to live there today. After graduating from Salmen High School in Slidell, Liz received an AA in Humanities from Delgado Community College in New Orleans. Liz worked as a waitress between completing her Associate’s Degree and joining LCI. She is working part-time towards a Bachelor’s of Science in Business. In her free time, Liz enjoys playing tennis, working out, and spending time with her friends.
Please join LCIA in welcoming Billy and Liz to LCI. We are excited to have them on board, and they both look forward to working with LCI policyholders and partnering agents.
