Baton Rouge

  • The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are hosting a Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) Certification Training on Wednesday, May 17, in Baton Rouge. Attendees will learn how to complete the online registration for the certification that helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain access to government procurement opportunities.   • The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "Business After Ours” event on Thursday, May 18, at Tunk’s Cypress Inn in Boyce. Click here for more information.

Greater New Orleans:

  • LCIA’s Christina Buras is participating in a "Water Workforce” panel discussion on Monday, May 15, at Propeller Incubator in New Orleans.   • The Bossier Chamber of Commerce is hosting its monthly Morning Blend event on Thursday, May 18. The "Speed Networking” format will allow attendees to make many new contacts in a short amount of time. Click here for registration information.

Southwest Louisiana

  • The Southwest Louisiana Forestry Association and LSU AgCenter are hosting a Forestry Field Day on Saturday, May 20 at 9:00 AM in DeRidder.
